Pennsylvania Heavy Metals HB 2535: Requires for the testing and labeling of baby food and for prohibited levels of toxic heavy metals in baby food. Pennsylvania Food Packaging , PFAS HB 1965: Prohibits PFAS in food packaging. Pennsylvania Food Packaging , BPA, Phthalates, and Chemicals Used in Plastic HB 2193: Prohibits the manufacture, sale, or distribution of food containers containing BPA at a level above 0.1ppb. Pennsylvania PFAS HB 1410: Creates remediation fund for customers of water utilities financially impacted by PFAS contamination related to military installations. (Adopted in 2019) Pennsylvania Mercury , Heavy Metals HB 44: Prohibits the sale of a mercury thermostat, and prohibits them being disposed as solid waste unless the mercury is removed for reuse or recycling.
